Making Our Days Count: Bringing Judaism Into Our Homes and Lives

Presenter(s): Carol Richmond (University Synagogue)
Time: Sunday 9:30 A.M. - 10:45 A.M.

Explore how small changes in your actions can add meaning to your lives. Discover how to better integrate Judaism into your daily life, and achieve greater balance between the Jewish and secular worlds.

This workshop provides insight on how our daily choices can be positively influenced by Jewish values and practices.

How different would our days be if we blessed our food, did one act of hesed (kindness) daily, chose a way to distinguish Shabbat from the other days of the week, or got into the spirit of an upcoming holiday in a meaningful way?

Carol was the founding President of University Synagogue, and now serves as VP of Education. She is a professional educator and regularly teaches “Jewish Alive and American” along with other topics, at University Synagogue.
