Jewish Reconstructionist Federation

There will be a short historical introduction to liturgical creation with a Reconstructionist emphasis and exploration of the tension between Keva (fixed or structured prayer) and Kavannah (intention or spontaneous prayer), including examples from Kol Ha Neshamah and the Keddem Congregation siddurim. You will also have a chance to create your own liturgical pieces based upon some texts, either individually or in chevruta. Bring your curiosity and creativity!
