Register online for the Chesapeake JRF Afternoon of Honor on March 18th at Savage Mill.

This year we will be presenting special honors to Alice and Frank Pearlman from Mishkan Torah in Greenbelt, who have served on our regional council since its inception in the early 90s, Allen Berkowitz, our past Regional Vice President, and all our active regional rabbis including Rabbi Leila Gal Berner, Rabbi Elizabeth Bolton, Rabbi Jonathan Cohen, Rabbi Fred Scherlinder Dobb, Rabbi George Driesen, Rabbi Gary Fink, Rabbi Douglas Heifetz, Rabbi Ilyse Kramer, Rabbi Sidney Schwarz, and Rabbi Ruth Smith.

In addition we will be presenting the Judith and Ira Eisenstein Service Award to members of our congregations including Myrna Seidman and Ralph Silberman from Adat Shalom in Bethesda; Joe Clark and Harriet Rivlin from Beit Tikvah in Baltimore; Richard Finstein from CJC in Columbia; Stephen Jascourt and Benton Parks from Mishkan Torah in Greenbelt; Art and Linda Solomon from Oseh Shalom in Laurel; and Marcia Levinsohn from the Reconstructionist Havurah of Greater Washington. We are very excited to be honoring all these fine people.

The invitations for the Afternoon of Honor have already been mailed. If you have not yet received an invitation, and would like one, please let me know. I apologize for the two errors in the invitation packet. Mishkan Torah is located in Greenbelt Maryland, and the letter to send in contributions to the Tribute Journal says calls Ralph Silberman Richard by mistake.

The Afternoon of Honor will start at 4:30 p.m. on March 18th with light hors d'oeuvres followed by our program of honor and will close with dinner and dessert . We hope you choose to participate in this great event to celebrate with this year's honorees.
