Dr. Frederic Luskin on Jewish Teachings of Forgiveness
Kabbalat Shabbat Service and Study Session
Friday, Feb.10th, 6:15 – 8:30 p.m.

Join us in welcoming Dr. Frederic Luskin, PhD, Senior Consultant in Health
Promotion at Stanford University and Director of the Stanford
Forgiveness Project. The evening includes an abbreviated service
welcoming the Sabbath followed by Dr. Luskin’s talk on the value of
forgiveness for physical and emotional health.
Dinner will follow the service and discussion at 7:30 p.m.

Dr. Luskin conducts research and workshops on the effectiveness of the forgiveness methods
he developed. His work has been successfully applied in corporate, medical, legal, and
religious settings. Our discussion will focus on Dr. Luskin’s book, “Forgive For Good,” described
by Amazon as a “…groundbreaking study from the frontiers of psychology and medicine [that]
offers startling new insight into the healing powers and medical benefits of forgiveness.”

All are welcome. A suggested donation of $10 is appreciated.
Children are welcome; child care and dinner for children are free!
