Eric Schulmiller, a member of the American Conference of Cantors, received his Bachelors of Music from the University of Miami (FL) in 1994, with a major in Studio Music and Jazz Piano. Eric received his Masters of Sacred Music from the School of Sacred Music at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion and was invested as cantor in the spring of 1999. He has served as cantor of the Reconstructionist Synagogue of the North Shore since then, as well as leading the synagogue’s teen program and advising the congregation’s social action committee. Eric lives in Port Washington with his wife, Sarah, and his two young children, Tal and Eve.
