I am a graduate of the University of Vermont and the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College. I was the Rabbi of the Israel Congregation in Manchester Center, Vermont from 1990-2000. Since then I have been involved with the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies. I am the co-founder of the Green Zionist Alliance, the first environmental Zionist organization to attend a World Zionist Congress. I am a co-founder of the Arava Power Company, bringing Solar power to the Israeli and Jordanian sides of the Arava Valley. I recently completed a novella, Einstein's Rabbi.
